Early Wood Frame and Masonry Structures This is a new book by Pat Herriman featuring Early Wood Frame and Masonry Structures. The designs, drawings, and descriptions contained in this book are by the author. These drawing are made for model railroading. Pat told me many of the buildings are narrow and long so they easily fit into our layouts. This new issue with all new buildings has more details than the other book. Over 40 building presented in 238 pages.
They come from an earlier and simpler time in the past. They could also be found anywhere from coast to coast in smaller towns and rural areas of the nineteenth century America and later. Some could still be in use today, looking not much different than they did a hundred years ago.
There are 41 different plans for 34.95 making your cost less than 85 cents per plan. The structures range anywhere from Paul's Bait Shack to a large Brewery and Sullivan Furniture Factory. The book has over 238 pages. The book is chuck full of ideas to spur your creative juices. You may never build an exact copy of any of the structures but you may build a dozen of your own scratch built builds from the ideas you got from reading this book.
